Year Round RecreationExcellent backcountry skiing, snowboarding and snowshoe touring terrain is located directly above the yurts in the winter. The north-facing slopes provide safe and consistent snow with perfectly spaced trees or discover the numerous open glades. Mellow snowshoe or x-c ski tours can easily be found below the yurts and above timberline. Spring skiing conditions can be enjoyed until late-May.
The yurts are fully equipped with with cooking and eating utensils for a large group. In the winter, snow is melted for water. Food can be cooked on the propane stove or on the large wood-burning stove. In the evenings, light is provided by bright propane lamps for dining, reading, studying maps or playing games. Weve tried to provide all of the necessary amenities needed to make your stay comfortable. A minimum of two nights is recommended if you truly want to have a quality backcountry experience. Enjoy the comfort
Each person should bring their own sleeping bag (good bags rated to 0 degrees or below in the winter are highly recommended). Pillows are furnished, but please bring your own clean pillow cases and wash clothes or towels for your personal use. Your party, no matter what the size, has exclusive use of the entire yurt. The shared restroom is conveniently located between the 2 yurts.
